Cucumbi is an elegant, family-run hotel that is the stylish and minimalist conversion of a countryside organic farm. Set in the beautiful Alentejo region of Portugal, Cucumbi rests between the two small cities Montemor-o-Novo and Alcácer do Sal, close to the small village of Barrancão. Cucumbi is one and a half hours south-east of Lisbon.
Every day of the protocol is different, and every day you have the option to deepen into luxurious rest and repair. Small groups allow me to amend the program in real time, following your body’s response to the process. The focus throughout the program is the repair and nourishment of the digestive system with the integration of self-care practices. The protocol optimises the body to carry and hold the charge of a joyous state of being.
The food is delicious, colourful and healing, There is no need to suffer to cleanse your body. All meals are crafted to provide a complete digestive system reset. Meals are based on Ayurvedic mono-diet healing principles, macrobiotics and the multitude of benefits of eating local, organic food consciously and in good company.
Guests will be offered the option to participate in a 3-day liquid fast including nutrient-dense function-food extracts, Ayurvedic tonics, local-harvest soups and broths. The three-day liquid fast is easy, tasty, empowering and extremely effective in burning excess fat, (where the toxins are stored) bringing you way more energy than you would ever believe possible while fasting.
All guests receive the Amaveda Detox Product Collection containing 100% natural products. The products teach Ayurvedic daily self-care practices, detox treatments and beauty rituals. Amaveda products are used throughout the detox week and beyond.

PRE-DETOX INFO
Two weeks before the start date you will receive the PRE-DETOX information .pdf outlining how to prepare your body for the detox transformation. This document also includes packing suggestions and arrival details.
A €500 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your place on the retreat as well as your room choice. The remaining balance is due 2 weeks prior to the start date. If bookings are made within 4 weeks of the start date, full payment is required at the time of booking. Payments can be made by either direct bank deposit, or, with any credit card via Stripe plus a standard 2.9% surcharge added to the all-inclusive prices above. Retreat payments are in local currency. There is a 100% no-refund policy on all Amaveda retreats. If the retreat is cancelled for unforeseen circumstances, full refunds are made.
