Old World Rasayana

Rasayana is the Rejuvenation branch of Ayurvedic medicine. Rasayana treatments were utilised when the body was warn-down, aged or depleted. People in remission from illness or after completing a full 28-day Pancha Karma detoxification therapy would then undergo Rasayana treatments. Anything that supports and nourishes the blood, the tissues and immune system would be called Rasayana. Herbs, tonics, specific diet and regimens, which promote vitality and longevity by delaying the ageing process and preventing disease are also called Rasayana.

Modern Day AmaVeda Rasayana

In our modern reality, we are all burnt-out on some level. No matter how well you take care of yourself, there seems always the question of “Why don’t I feel better? I’m doing everything right.”

So what has changed from the way we live now to when these therapies and treatments were first implemented thousands of years ago?
Well, pretty much everything.

  • The over stimulated mind

  • Multitasking is not only necessary, but expected

  • Huge amount of EMF radiation is our new reality

  • Our 24-hour plugged-in lives (3 devices, 10 passwords, 20 accounts)

  • Unstable economy and climate

  • Managing the new “disorders”: hormone imbalances, anxiety, insomnia, and depression

  • The NUTRIENT deficit

  • The over exposure of toxicity in our everyday lives

The New RUN-DOWN

No matter what your individual lifestyle looks like, everyone is affected by the new RUN-DOWN. Somehow along the line of our progress we forgot to make it socially acceptable to take time out to repair. We are not only societally expected to just carry on, but worse: to push harder.

The Great News

The ideology behind the Rasayana treatments still work, our physiology hasn’t changed. The Rasayana herbs + tonics are still here and still work the same way in the body. The foundation and science of body-rejuvenation is still the same.
It’s just us that have changed. Finding applicable, modern, remedial formulas to this pandemic is the way forward. We CAN PROGRESS by actively doing less.
