This section of the cleanse manual includes three sleep practices, outlined in detailed instruction and include sleep hygiene, Padabhyanga or Ayurvedic foot massage and sky gazing. The evening practices section also includes the importance of ritual, and how to create a medicinal bathing ritual that supports the cleansing process. 

All of these practices in this area of the program are designed to help guide you into the liminal space of time where the mind and body are winding down from beta-brain waves states of doing and being, to the lowered brain wave states of the parasympathetic nervous system where all detoxification and cellular repair happen. And of course, preparing the body and mind for a night of deep and restful sleep.
